Start and Grow Your Own Business – LEGI
Blackburn Rovers, Accrington Stanley and Burnley have something rather special in common .... apart from football. They've each signed up to support the ground-breaking No Limits programme.
This is a multi million pound initiative (part of the Government's LEGI, Local Enterprise Growth Initiative) to support new and existing businesses in Pennine Lancashire.It includes advice on business practice, enterprise, growth and funding and is targeted in areas where such advice is most needed. All its supporters, including local borough councils in Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle and Lancashire County Council, share a common goal - to build enterprise, jobs and prosperity in our region, so boosting local incomes and employment opportunities.
A key part of the project has been Elevate's Constructing The Future, targeting the construction industry. Other achievements include helping show women mean business, providing mentoring and creating special Enterprise Havens with incubator units for new businesses.
