In Pennine Lancashire we’re committed to making sure this part of Lancashire is a place where people will choose to live, work and play.
More than £300m investment is improving the quality of older housing stock here. That work was led by
Elevate, the Housing Market Renewal and Regeneration agency for Pennine Lancashire. Elevate has been assimilated into a new economic development company called Regenerate Pennine Lancashire.
Local councils and Lancashire County Council are working in partnership with other public and private organisations to ensure lasting change is made.
Much is also being done to stimulate community initiatives and well-being and build local enterprise.
Our schools, colleges and new university campuses are helping create skilled and confident citizens – proud to contribute to the ongoing development of Pennine Lancashire.
