Permaculture Workshops and More: First Saturday of month

Get ready for a home-grown harvest. Unlock the secrets of permaculture and more at Burnley’s premier Towneley Park.

You might even find time to peep at the historic Towneley Hall (open Saturday to Thursday) and its wonderful art collections. The Offshoots Permaculture Centre is an organic garden growing herbs, fruit, vegetables and flowers. It includes a sensory garden, reed beds, pond and unusual buildings including a cob oven, greenwood cabin and Mongolian yurt.

Workshops, including container vegetable growing, tree planting and attracting wildlife into the garden, coincide with Volunteer Saturday activities throughout the year.
