The Trevor Lingard Collection – a selection of original paintings in watercolour
Get away from the crowds and head for the Art Decor Gallery in the Ribble Valley village of Whalley for a tantalising taste of art contemporary and traditional.
You can take the train to view an impressive collections of original paintings, bronzes, sculptures and glassware. The contemporary art collection includes originals from artists such as Todd White, Geoffrey Key, Ross Eccles and John Thompson.

Why the train? Because the Gallery is next to Whalley Railway station and across the road from the equally renowned Food by Breda Murphy. Alternatively it’s 15 minutes drive from J 31 of the M6.
The Gallery celebrates its 20th anniversary this year – join the party by attending its special birthday exhibitions.
Trevor Lingard’s eagerly awaited solo exhibition will feature more than 30 watercolours. The paintings depict nostalgic architectural and figurative scenes. His loose, fresh and bold style reflects both mood and atmosphere, bordering on Romantic Impressionism.
